-Worked Directly under the President and Vice-President to Continually Improve our Quality System-Participated in Management Reviews and Review of Internal Audits-One direct report-Established, published, and maintained policies & procedures relative to the scope of the quality system.-Assured that all medical device manufacturing requirements were being met through Protek’s documents system and comply with relevant standards including, but not limited to: ISO 13485, MDD, MHLW, and FDA-Manage CAPA including: Problem Statement, Investigation and Containment, Root Cause Analyis, Action Plan to Prevent Recurrence of Non-Conformities, Closure, Auditing to Determine of Effectiveness-Control and Review of Non Conforming Materials and Products including root cause analysis, action plan, and closure-Communicated with employees on potential issues to prevent non-conforming products and processes.-Performed Internal Audits of the following: Management Review, Management Comittment, Quality Objectives, Monitoring and Measurement of Products, and Control of Documents-Wrote protocols and acted as project manager for validations of equipment including: IQ, OQ, PQ and retrospective validations.-Participated in Product Validations working together with engineers on validation testing and writing clear and effective reports-Provided process improvements and assisted in implementing new projects and changes including working directly with the President/CEO on a massive change initiative to reduce unnecessary inspections, improving throughput and emphasizing the process owner's quality responsibility.

-Reported directly to the Vice President of Operations-Responsible for the quarantine and release of pharmaceutical sunscreen and cosmetics-Worked directly with the Research and Development team on formulation of new products-Met weekly for operations/quality meeting where the production schedule was finalized for our facility-Conducted company sponsored research at Coe College to develop our own HPLC sunscreen testing method.

-Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of lab equipment-Overseeing process improvements in potentiometic measurements of ozone, fluouride, and sulfites.-Responsible for evaluating SOP's for HAACP and SQF compliance-Certified Plant Operator IBWA-Inventory and ordering of all lab supplies

-Responsible for potentiometric and calorimetric testing of bottled and source water using established methods.-Performed daily microbiological testing(both plating and reading)-Enforcement of GMP's for facility-Responsible for the quarantine of suspect product and the holding and/or release of said product
