Mr. Kass is the President at Broadview Waste Solutions, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland. His daily responsibilities include general office accounting, purchasing and acquisition of capital equipment, safety compliance, proposal development, business development, and management of hazardous waste transportation and disposal services. Mr. Kass provides regular consultation to contractors throughout the mid-Atlantic region on topics including business development, environmental, OSHA and DOT compliance, health and safety, and industrial hygiene. Mr. Kass has extensive experience managing hazardous waste streams resulting from medical, research, construction, and manufacturing activities. Mr. Kass also has experience analyzing indoor ambient air quality conditions for the presence of environmental hazards including asbestos, lead, mold, VOCs, heavy metals, silica and radon. Eric is trained and certified by NIOSH to perform phase contrast microscopy and to collect air sampling media for transmission electron microscopy. Eric has experience performing HAZMAT surveys for the purposes of environmental profiling and planned demolition. Mr. Kass is also licensed and certified to oversee hazardous material remediation and abatement. Mr. Kass has a Master's Degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Environmental Health Engineering. Mr. Kass' work and research is based on the ideology that occupational illness, injury, and environmental degradation can be prevented through the incorporation of science and the use of administrative policy, engineering, and personal protective measures.
