My time serving in the Army gave me over 13 years of experience leading, training, counseling, and mentoring over 500 personnel. I was able to leverage this leadership experience into the recipient of 13 awards in leadership, technical expertise, and distinguished school achievements while serving in the most demanding positions. While finishing my degree at Kansas State, I gained invaluable operations experience working 5 months as Field Transportation Intern with Union Pacific Railroad. As an Area Manager with Amazon, I have to ability to be creative and blend my previous experiences that allow me make quicker decisions in real time. I enjoy being part of team that is constantly raising the bar or "standard". A job that you are learning something new everyday, is a job that enables you to grow. Never settling and wanting to be challenged is what drives my work ethic. Both past and current experiences along with with my abilities have set me on a path that will lead me to success in my career now and in the future.
