  I have been a supervisor for fifteen years. I have supervised four to six caseworkers during that time. The caseworkers I supervised have some of the most complex cases consisting of youth with significant trauma. These youth have been identified as needing residential treatment for their mental health and behavioral needs. We are responsible for locating and obtaining placements and services that can meet the youths needs and work towards reunification. We also serve most of the 14-21 year old youth and young adults, helping them get prepared for life after foster care. I am responsible for making sure our team is meeting the needs of the families and meeting State mandates.
