National Account Manager servicing high level clientele in the Southwest region (California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico). Product offerings in our portfolio include process cheese, Italian style cheese, soft cheese (cream cheese), cheese powders, condiments (i.e. Heinz Ketchup), sauces (i.e. BBQ and Worcestershire sauces), meats (bacon bits) and confections (caramel and marshmallows). Main tasks include working with and continuing to grow our established customer base while at the same time prospecting and finding new avenues of sales opportunity.

In June of 2016 after being acquired, Teawolf and its products were integrated into the Doehler network here in the US. While still responsible for sales in the west region of the US, I was also servicing several key accounts within Doehler that have operations across the country and globe.In addition to the typical line-up of Teawolf products, Doehler offers expanded products and services into the food and beverage space by way of fruit and vegetable juices, flavors, aromas, concentrates, extracts, natural colors, fruit preps, compound and base production among many others.

Account manager for the western region of the US. Responsible for maintaining existing business and further growing the territory through prospecting and new customer development.I was responsible for selling the core product lines which includes extracts of Vanilla, Cocoa, Coffee, Hibiscus, Tea, Guayusa and many other common botanicals. The main customers serviced were companies found in the beverage and food space; however I also worked with those found in the flavor, nutraceutical and cosmetic markets.

Sales and account management for numerous supplement, food and cosmetic customers primarily providing extract, health and personal care ingredient solutions. Also responsible for some flavor and gums solutions within the existing territory and established health clientele.

Responsible for directly overseeing the sales and account development of all accounts west of Mississippi river which are spread across two territories. Also had one direct report under this position.

Technical sales representative for the central United States region containing 18 states. Responsible for all sales of the territory in addition to developing business relationships and prospecting new accounts to further supplement sales. Other duties included customer service for existing customers for all areas of business ranging from standards purchases, chromatography related services and raw material sales.

Helped conduct research and development of a new chemical indicator to be used in hospital Hydrogen Peroxide sterilizers that would drastically reduce the time required to determine a successful sterilization cycle.

Research projects were centered around the bacterium Photorhabdus. The first project that was started was one to determine the lethality or LD50 of various Photorhabdus species in the Tobacco Hornworm. Stocks of several hundred Hornworms were grown and then injected subcutaneously with varying concentrations of the bacterial cultures and observed for three days. After the end of the observation period, statistical data was gathered based on how many worms had deceased and how many were still living.The second research project started was a gene knockout project of the Yersinia Murine Toxin gene analog in Photorhabdus luminescens. The goal of this project was to ultimately create a knockout mutant and observe the activity of this mutant in the nematode Heterorhabditis bacteriophora versus the wild type organisim thus pinpointing the activity of this YMT gene analog.

Conduct lectures to students enrolled in this general microbiology teaching laboratory as well as provide answers to any questions they may have regarding the experiments expected to be run and grade papers for assignments due.
