Job Duties Include but are not limited to the following; *Sell print and online advertising to contract and non-contract accounts.*Prospect for and develop new advertisers.*Show businesses that we can reach their clients through a total market coverage approach. *Process ad copy in an accurate and timely fashion and be responsible for the insertion/placement of advertising.*Maintain a positive relationship between accounts and newspaper by providing all services necessary to assure customer satisfaction.*Make presentations to sell new or upgrade existing accounts.*Handle credit and adjustment questions for accounts in effective, courteous manner.*Sell special section advertising and make presentations in person and via electronic methods *Respond sensitively to needs of accounts and maintain good working relationships with our customers by providing outstanding customer service.*Suggest copy layout and scheduling of ads.*Be knowledgeable in, and capable of developing market data in response to customer requests.*Maintain professional demeanor in dealings with business community*Employing creative thinking in order to maximize accounts ad campaign and effectiveness

Drove to trial locations all over Minnesota to monitor test plots and collected data both visually and by interacting with seed dealers on the growth and status of the new hi-breds and varieties.
