This application, along with Splunk provided rapid problem resolution for the customer’s java and thick-client application – cut time for root-cause analysis from days to sometimes minutes. • Investigated the causes of system performance degradation and outages using commercial and team-developed tools, then recommend temporary fixes and permanent solutions. • Worked with application developers and database administrators to find performance issues with JVMs and databases (slow calls, memory leaks, connection leaks, service host). • Worked with network management to specify notification parameters and methodologies. • Found solutions for numerous application issues that affected the submission and approval of patent and trademark applications.
