Developed a new internal, service catalog, order-processing platform using the latest Microsoft technologies, e.g. C#, MVC 5, Entity Framework 6.0, AppFabric and .NET 4.5.1, while leveraging open-source, third-party frameworks like jQuery and Angular.js. Worked with import and export data in both XML and Excel formats for bulk updating and transferring between instances of the application.Made performance enhancements that resulted in a 75% reduction in time for on-boarding client data. Tracked down and removed leaking database connections to enhance application stability and performance. Design and developed web services to interact with an internal service exchange platform.Used both Agile development methodologies and continuous build environments (Jenkins) to speed up development cycles and incorporate unit testing to ensure the quality of the changes being committed.Continued to support the other tools (Aldea/Aries, quoting tool) during this effort.

Brought in to support a contract pricing quoting tool that had remaining documentation or knowledge base within the company. Reverse-engineered the rate loading process in order meet new contractual demands and resolve issue with the current process. Interfaced with the account team to determine requirements, set clear timelines and define release procedures. Created the tools to support the releases. Handled all production support of the application.Transitioned into a technical lead/architect role and turned over the actual development to two other developers.

Served as the Technical Lead for both enhancements and production support for an internal, project management support platform and its self-registration front-end. Directed a team of up to nine developers. Ensured processes were followed and deadlines were met. Performed configuration management activities as well as backing up the Architect and DBA as needed.Helped take the application from a single client (ASP, VB, HTML) application to a multi-tenant, corporate tool (ASP.NET, VB.NET/C#). Handled over two billion dollars worth of annual revenue, supporting 60+ accounts in several different industries, e.g. government, telecommunications, retail, and manufacturing.

Upgraded existing legacy (Mainframe/VAX) environment to a client-server (UNIX, C, Oracle) environment. Leveraged the use of middleware products (MQSeries and WebMethods). Helped bring standard processes and methodologies to an customer that had none.

Functioned as the Technical Lead for a taxing enhancement of the cellular billing system for one of our clients. Included in this was merging several existing billing systems into a singular, billing platform. Worked directly with the customer to determine requirements. Served as a Quality Assurance Tester for another high-profile SMS enhancement.
