Employed as an Assistant Resident Engineer on a road rehabilitation project in the Kingdom of Swaziland. Contract value approximately E13 million). Responsibilities included measurement, checking the Contractor's monthly certificates, as-built records, contract administration, appraisal and solutions to technical design and construction problems and the subsequent issuing of site instructions and memoranda.

Involved in the design of a complex piled foundation system for an ash conveyor drive/transfer house at Tutuka Power Station. Responsible for producing detailed sketches and supervision of the working drawings for the design.

Employed on site as a Resident Engineer on a grain silo extension project in the Eastern Transvaal. Responsibilities included quality control, agreeing quantities, inspection, holding site meetings and liaison with the client and building contractors.

Duties included some draughting experience and steelwork for buildings design in liaison with other engineering disciplines included in the project.• Upgrading Caltex Oil Refinery, Bahrain. Duties included reinforced concrete design, quantities, preparing contract documents again in liaison with other engineering disciplines in the project team.

Employed as a Site Engineer on a roadworks contract (approximate value 2 million) and responsibilities included setting out, quality control and liaising with the client.
