About Eric Koritko

I am a former McMaster University student who graduated in 2017 with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Statistics, specializing in statistics. I also developed an appreciation for other avenues in the department such as mathematical theory and modelling.Shortly after finishing my degree I found a job at Points in Toronto as a Data Specialist for their Promotions team, where I continue to work at to this day. This position allowed me to carryover the logic and problem solving abilities I developed at school into a professional setting. The role offered me the versatility to simultaneously develop a keen business acumen as well as gain a deep understanding of our data and processes behind the scenes.As a result, I was promoted to be a data analyst for the marketing team. Thanks to my academic background and the foundational skills I developed in data preparation, SQL, and Alteryx - I have been able to seamlessly transition into a supporting role that will directly accelerate the growth of our business.
