PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Provide support for the Aircrew Protection and Survivability Division, including collecting and analyzing engineering data to support flight clearance recommendations, analyzing and integrating components and systems, generating engineering product specifications and requirements, and evaluating technical operation of components and equipment for vibration and auditory performance. Designed, funded, and provided leadership to 12 departments with 400+ contractors on a $13M personnel service contract. Delivered high-caliber supervision over base life support operations for service members, including base housing, facilities, new construction, recreation services, and real estate acquisitions valued at $10M+. Developed relationships with 10 different agencies to build a consensus among competing priorities, program officials, and military commanders. Acquired funding and directed base improvement projects to increase housing capacity by 30%, improve recreation services, and put in place plans to support the base’s “green space” initiative. Appointed by the Fleet Forces Advisor to manage a highly visible initiative to integrate the use of Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) on Military Sealift Command (MSC) ships. Worked in tandem with high-level commanders, operational leaders, engineers, and contractors to develop holistic architectural drawings for installation packages of the UAS. Supervised and provided technical guidance to junior-level personnel in performing package installation to ensure compliance with operator handbooks, work standards, OSHA, and FAA requirements. Developed technical documentation, including technical publications, initial capabilities document, and ship installation drawings for UAS intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance competence. Accelerated project schedule and reduced future install costs by writing Standard Work Packages (SWP) for installations that could be used across a variety of MSC ships.Proposed, built, and managed the first 3D printing lab and collaborative workspace for junior military and civilian personnel to conceptualize new ideas, processes, and technology to improve warfighter readiness and reduced costs.Served as an innovation speaker to broaden program outreach and led multiple innovation competitions with an additive product development and manufacturing focus.
