Saskatchewan supplier companies have been providing world class solutions that have been used by resource companies in Saskatchewan and around the world.The Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association, represents over 340 Saskatchewan based/substantially-based companies (employing over 34,000 people in the province and creating over $14-billion in sales) who provide goods and services to mining, energy, and industrial sectors.Under my leadership, SIMSA has signed MOUs for supply chain development with GE Hitachi, X-energy, the OCNI, etc. We also do vetting for local content for BHP and Federated Co-op.

Research, write, and voice a daily radio commentary to build public understanding and support for Saskatchewan’s resource and heavy industrial sectors. Prosperity Saskatchewan is a daily 60-second radio commentary on Saskatchewan’s mining, energy, and industrial sectors, as well as its economy. The items are researched, written, and voiced by myself. The sponsors are Cameco, Nutrien, the Government of Saskatchewan and SIMSA. The commentary is a bolt-on project to my work with SIMSA.Prosperity Saskatchewan can be heard weekdays at 10:30 am during the John Gormley show (the most listened-to item on Saskatchewan radio), and also on weekends at 10:30 am. In addition to these, it is also heard several times per day, seven days per week. All of this is on Rawlco Radio’s CKOM NewsTalk 650 in Saskatoon and CJME NewsTalk 980 in Regina. The current program is actually version 2.0, as Prosperity Saskatchewan originally ran from 2008 – 2014 inclusive (let’s call that version 1.0). At that time, what began as a radio commentary, grew into a lecture series at the University of Saskatchewan’s Edwards School of Business (the WISER series), professional speaking, blog, and consulting. 1,575 episodes of Prosperity Saskatchewan aired during its original run, accompanied by over 4,000 blog postings. Contract position to develop IMII's 2 focus-area panels; extracted the mutual Employment and Training needs, as well as the Research and Development needs, from Saskatchewan's mining sector's key players - Agrium, BHP Billiton, Cameco, K+S Potash, Mosaic, and PotashCorp - approximately $250-billion in combined market cap - and shared them with Saskatchewan's post-secondary institutes and Government. The goal being to then develop and share possible solutions, for a combination of IMII, industry, and Government funding. Designed and oversaw installment of major concerts productions systems. Contracted and produced concerts for artists such as Burton Cummings, Teri Clark, New Year's Eve with Paul Brandt (CBC broadcast), etc. Managed customer service department.

Sold Astound virtual conferencing technology into companies such as Minolta's head offices in New Jersey. Later switched to selling WebEx - yes in 1998! Also sold PowerPoint and Astound presentations, as well as website development, into companies such as the movie "Grey Owl" directed by Sir Richard Attenborough starring Pierce Brosnan.

Taught and graded undergraduate and graduate trombone students, as well as small ensembles. Participated in the grading of all trombone students at UNT during each semester's performance exams/recitals.
