• Delivers systematic monitoring and evaluation services to overseas buildings operations (OBO), and others for Technical Security Systems (TSS) designs and installations.• Review and interpret site technical security design drawings, specifications, and requirements to ensure that planned work complies with Diplomatic Security (DS) applicable standards/requirements. • Coordinate inspection services and schedules with various federal government representatives and contractors to provide objective assessment of technical security system project designs and installations to help to identify potential problems that may increase security risks or affect operations.• Analyze problems and oversee the layout of TSS installations by performing technical security quality inspections. • Prepare detailed standardized, concise, and objective reports of design review/inspection findings based on DS applicable standards/requirements and maintain electronic databases. • Conducts quality audits and reports discrepancies of TSS installation projects based upon statements of work (SOWs), regulations, and standards.• Review technical documents and provide recommendations to industry-standard installation practices and standards to ensure compliance with client requirements. • Provide verbal and written advice to government clients on specific issues regarding compliance with applicable technical security standards/requirements. • Recommends process improvements supporting U.S. Government managers in their oversight of performance-based contracts by providing subject-matter experts and solutions to performanceissues, preparing independent government cost estimates (IGCEs).• Served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Department of State (DoS) TSS installation requirements, design review, and inspection processes.

Research, evaluate, diagnosis, test, recommend, design, and implement new security and emergency communication systems and devices for the Office of Security, International Security Programs Division, Security Engineering Branch (SEC/ISP/SE). Provide technical consultation on new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems.
