--Directly responsible for approximately 40% of Synovus locations, and properties, across the Southeast, totaling 1.45 million square feet, including the primary headquarters in Columbus, GA and the Mortgage division headquarters in Birmingham, AL--Actively manage all assigned regional properties, including occupancy, maintenance, construction, relocation and renovation of existing buildings, offices and facilities to meet business needs--Manage real estate and facilities to uniformly apply corporate goals and objectives while meeting local market needs--Serve as the Owner's Representative for all construction projects to manage construction activity, scheduling, and cost control. Identify candidates to provide architectural services on a regional basis--Evaluate each location within the region annually; create a prioritized capital projects list based on available capital, critical operational needs, corporate objectives and priority, relative to other projects--Manage core support teams (in-sourced and outsourced) to support the facility management needs of each region.--Assist in the preparation of business cases for new construction and/or the renovation of existing facilities. Evaluate owned versus leased options to determine the best strategy for acquiring new locations.--Identify excess space in each bank and develop a strategy to utilize the space, and use company owned space for support teams where possible.--Integrate marketing programs with interior design; coordinate furniture placement and finish selection with the marketing plan. --Evaluate the most cost effective method of providing maintenance services for the region by comparing cost of using in-house teams versus outsourcing--Establish preventive maintenance programs in all facilities to minimize downtime, improve operating efficiency and minimize capital replacement cost

Project was delivered on time and on budget--Managed $13.5m Veterans Services renovations and new construction to support PTSD treatment, in Milledgeville, GA--Managed $10m Dalton State College renovation and addition to the Wright School of Business in Dalton, GA--Managed $6.8m Georgia National Fairgrounds new construction of a equine/multi-use arena, in Perry, GA--Collaboratively worked with procurement services for furniture purchases leveraging state contracts on projects

I was a Facilities Management professional with a broad scope of responsibility on a campus that had seen incredible growth from when I arrived in 2007. It has been said that our Office of Facilities had, “done all a Facilities Office can ever be asked to do, in a very short period of time.”--Established early on as the “ambassador” for Facilities on campus and as the primary liaison to the President’s and Vice President’s Offices for all needs from the Office of Facilities--Directly responsible for all aspects of Major Repair and Renovation capital improvement projects on campus, working with the Board of Regents staff and campus staff to meet the growth needs of the campus--Responsible for all Design and Construction renovation, minor projects, grant funded projects, State mandated inspections and implementation of green initiatives, including successful implementation of the campus wide recycling program--Directly, or by committee, participated in professional service selection process on campus and qualified selections using RFP, RFQ and Direct Selection processes, including Construction Management, and Architectural/Engineering Design Teams--Primarily responsible for coordinating all plan reviews in construction, renovation and landscaping making sure all departmental interests are able to adequately assess their needs--Maintained direct oversight of all Custodial, Maintenance and Grounds personnel until these core support services were outsourced to Sodexo Facilities Services in 2008--Managed direct oversight of outsourced core support services awarded to Sodexo Facilities Services from the Office of Facilities and continuously partnering to implement Operations initiatives and projects, provide background for the Facilities Capital Action Plan and support of campus work order system
