About Eric L Thomas Sr
Eric has over 20 years of experience in food distribution. He was the co-founder of T&T Foodservice, Inc. in 1994. In January, 2014 he started his own food distribution company, Eridor Foodservice, Inc. named after his sons Eric & Dorian. Eridor intends to become a major player in the foodservice arena. Eridor will cater to small companies with on time delivery as well as establish strategic alliances with larger companies. We intend to focus on small & medium sized manufacturing companies who face great challenges in attracting the attention of the larger foodservice distribution companies. We want to work with companies who want "one stop shopping". Our ideal customer is a business owner that wants to focus their time and energies on the management of their business and allow Eridor to source and deliver the products they need. We will work with larger companies to help them streamline their operations by consolidating their purchasing and reducing their payables. As an MBE certified company with the City of Chicago we will develop strategic alliances with companies that are bidding on City and County contracts. If you have a product you are looking to distribute to the marketplace or are a manager seeking to reduce the number of companies you have to call to place orders for products you need, call us. We want to work with you.

In 2011, Rev. Jesse L Jackson Sr. asked me to chair the Rainbow/PUSH International Trade Bureau. In my capacity as chairman, I work with Rev. Jackson and his staff to assist in the development and growth of the members of the Trade Bureau. I counsel our members on ways together we can grow our businesses through strategic alliances with companies. We also advocate of behalf of businesses that are not getting an equal opportunity to grow and expand their businesses. We work with the public and private sector to encourage them to embrace the spirit and intent of inclusion. We meet every Thursday morning at 8 a.m at Rainbow/PUSH headquarters to discuss the issues that impact the growth and development of minority and women owned businesses.

At T&T I served in several capacities. I was the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. I was appointed as the Director of Operations by the CEO in 2010. I was asked to use my problem solving and team building skills to resolve a number of operational issues that were plaguing the successful execution of the Chicago Public Schools foodservice contract. I worked successfully with the operations people at Chartwell's/Thompson to resolve these issues. I was also responsible for the development of new business opportunities. During my tenure inspite of T&T's unique business model and obstacles to compete in the market place I successfully added over 3 million dollars in new business.
