Responsibilities:- Defining roles and responsibilities for this new department- Build reporting and controlling process in fast pace environment- New Power B.I. reports shared to over 50 users with interactive features.- Monthly, bi-weekly and weekly presentations of the results to all project members for all projects over $100M.- Documentation of all new processes for Risk assurance audit, yearend financial audit and internal controls department.- IFRS compliance for fixed assets and intangible assets (Internal hours to be capitalized)- Forecasting and budgeting based on historical data and quotes received. -North American financial statement analysis-Act as support to the reporting team for all IFRS or consolidation related questions.-Profit in stock subject matter expert (SMI).-SMI for interco transactions & verification with general accounting team. Working with the Treasury analyst to validate the amount to be transferred every month.Special projectFusion & acquisition, acquisition of a US based company. My role was mainly to par-take in the conversion of their trial balance to our trial balance (mapping).Afterwards participate in the multiple journal entries to convert the company from US G.A.A.P. to IFRS; create the fixed and variable based allocations rules and J.E.; Participate in the FMV assessment booking (evaluated by KPMG) & depreciation.
