Following the success of the Tapestry Shard project (see Projects section), was asked to consult on the possibility of bringing the Uru Live MMORPG over to GameTap. During that time, advised on multiple areas, including technical requirements and potential community reactions. In order to facilitate community feedback, was asked to set up and administer a Turner-sponsored shard, known as D'mala. Responsibilities included adapting the existing source code to work on available hardware, maintaining the back-end MySQL database for the shard, troubleshooting clustering issues, analyzing logs to gather usage statistics, etc. While administering the D'mala shard, continued to gather community feedback and act as a liaison between the community and the developers.
