Project Manager
Windsor, Connecticut, United States
My role has been in profitability analysis and regulatory, to special project, here in Client Services. From a profitability standpoint, I have been finding and updating locations where we were not getting all the fees and charges that the client should be charged for, as well as making sure that locations/services were not upside down from a price/cost standpoint. Since my start, I have worked on multiple projects that have brought in millions in additional revenue/margin. In addition, to get approval for introducing these charges and fees, I have multiple conversations with the PM’s, both email/phone/1x1. This position pulled together many of my skills that I have obtained from other jobs that I have had and look forward to helping them meet their goals in the future. For the past 3 years I have been managing the regional mandate reviews, throughout the country, from a state/county/city level. California regulatory changes have been a huge amount of my work, along with New York State, and New Jersey. I am currently working on California Organics and through this process have requested bids, negotiated quotes with sales teams and sometimes clients, worked with our market areas to be working on these mandates at the same time, trained the sales teams on what is happening from a regulatory standpoint in California for Organics and Recycling, on over 7,000 locations that were out of alignment with the mandates. I also have been holding training sessions with sales and other areas on upcoming mandates to prepare their clients for what’s on the horizon. I am the contact and lead the regulatory efforts for WM. The subject matter expert for all regulatory mandates in the county. The go to person for sales of all levels in the company.
