Directly responsible for establishing procedures and policies and the selection of appropriate software for all the accounting functions of the corporation, which had 60 to 70 employees and between $4 and $5 million in annual sales. These functions included accounts receivable collection, accounts payable, and payroll, as well as the preparation of financial statements for the shareholders and creditors. Acted as administrator for the corporation’s defined benefit pension plans and 401k Plan. Oversaw the closing of the corporation’s defined benefit pension plans and the establishment of defined contribution plans. Represented IECO during IRS audits of these plans. Represented the corporation in a Pennsylvania Sales and Use Tax audit. Acted as liaison on behalf of IECO for all sales to Brazilian and Argentine customers.
