Recipient of American Immigration Lawyers Association's 2024 Jack Wasserman Memorial Award for national litigation. Open to co-counsel agreements & appellate brief assignments.I have been practicing immigration law since 2015, with a focus on challenging wrongful visa denials by US consulates abroad. I was lead counsel on Department of State v. Muñoz (23-334) and argued the case before the US Supreme Court in April 2024. In addition, I have successfully overturned immigrant and non-immigrant visa denials on behalf of clients from multiple continents. I have also successfully challenged several denials of asylum claims in courts of appeals and have written dozens of appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals. I've written articles and appeared at panels to discuss the so-called "doctrine of consular nonreviewability," its history and origins, including "Why Everyone Should Care about the "Doctrine of Consular Non-reviewability," Think Immigration, November 22, 2022; "Ninth Circuit Decision Expands Due Process for Visa Applicants and Families," Think Immigration October 28, 2022; and "Consular Nonreviewability: Fifty Years Since Kliendienst v.
