Regularly and clearly, communicate with the Toolpusher to ensure full support of the Drill-Floor and with the Bridge regarding crane operations and supply boats. Perform assigned duties during safety drills and emergencies as per designation on station bill. Actively be involved in the mentor-ship and development of subordinates. Supervises or performs duties involving requests, receipt, storage, issue, accountability and preservation of individual, organizational, installation and expendable supplies and equipment; receives, inspects, inventories, loads, unloads, segregates, stores, issues, delivers and returns organization and installation supplies and equipment. Operate unit level computers (ULC). Prepare all unit/organizational supply documents. Maintain automated supply system for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipment. Issues and receives small arms. Secures and controls weapons secure areas. Schedules and performs preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons. Coordinates supply activities. Reviews and annotates changes to unit material condition status report. Individual is responsible for posting all transactions to property books and supporting documents files. Operate Drillship cranes in support of drilling operations. Direct supervisor of six roustabouts to support on-going rig operations. Assist in handling freight to or from helicopters and boats. Supervise housekeeping operations when cranes are not in use. Implement and uphold safety and environmental compliance requirements. Following all policies and procedures, teach the roustabouts the policies so they understand. Enforce all policies and procedures. Safely and efficiently, perform all duties assigned by the Deck Foreman during drilling, and completion operations. Ensure all operations are proceeding in a safe manner, and responsible for correcting or notifying responsible person of any unsafe acts and/or conditions, which exist. Attend and participate in pre-tour, post tour, special operations and weekly safety meetings. Knowledgeable in all crane and rigging safety instructions and regulations. Be knowledgeable on operational limits of cranes and associated lifting equipment.
