Elevate is the Jr. High Ministry of Willow Creek Community Church. Every Saturday night and Sunday morning we have services for Jr. High Students to help them develop their faith. We believe that Jr. High Students are incredibly important to build into, and that there are a lot of others who share our view. Our hope is that in the three years that we have students in our ministry, we can teach them important skills to remain, or become followers of God throughout high school. We hope that the things they learn in Elevate will not just help them through the trials of Jr. High life, but will stick with them throughout their lives.

The last two summers, I have been a camp counselor and soccer coach of Butler University's youth soccer camps. I have been a leader and coach of over 10 of Butler University's soccer camps. As a camp counselor, it was my job to facilitate peer to peer relationships, encourage sportsmanship, and create an environment that welcomed all kids to enjoy the week of soccer camp. As a soccer coach, I was entrusted with a bit more responsibilities. It was my job to make sure kids developed ball mastery, learned how to develop 1v1 situations, create and instill confidence in every place, and inspire all the players to succeed throughout the entire week. This combined effort related with our staff's goal to make sure the kids have a "one of a kind" experience at every one of our camps.
