I have worked on modernising existing data platform architectures using technologies such as Azure cloud platform for data processing, Agile Data Engine for data orchestration and Snowflake for data storage. My work at Kuopio University Hospital focused on developing the hospital’s data architecture with a special focus on its Azure-based data lake environment. I was in charge of coordinating the updating of the data lake environment, planning and coordinating the implementation of secure computing environments for scientific studies, and scoping new data.

In my PhD thesis, I studied the effects of forestry on the reproductive success of Eurasian Treecreepers.
