Connecticut Children's Medical Center is a comprehensive pediatric hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, serving more than 15,000 children in primary care services, 55,000 in emergency care services, and 6000 in surgical services annually. Responsible for Supply Chain functions from point of entry to point of use, including: Prime Vendor fill rates, OmniCell replenishment to 34 OmniCells, Receiving, Putaway, Internal/External Distribution, and Inventory Control.

Led the management of Product Planning and Replenishment functions, including the planning and purchasing of globally sourced products. Responible for managing Turns and optimizing overall inventory investment. Works cross functionally with Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to manage product life cycle, and reducing excess inventory, as well as non-performing inventory, discontinued, and obsolete inventory. Six Sigma Black Belt.

Responsible for the entire NYC Dept of Education Facilities and Maintenance supply operation, supporting over 1,200 public schools. Responsible for all supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory control, and material issue for over 14,000 skus valued at $11 million. Provided direct management of the entire MRO spend, directly supporting Trades such as: Plumbers, Carpenters, Electricians, Steam, HVAC, and Environmental Safety.

Full P/L responsibility for an operation with over $1 billion in net regular sales. Managed a 215,000 sf distribution center, with over 125 union employees, and 35,000 SKUs valued at $105 million. Utilized both SAP and Acumax Plus, an AS 400 based, state-of-the-art order, inventory, and distribution management system, utilizing bar coding, wrist mounted computer scanners, and RF signals, to track the internal functions of the DC. Responsibility for all Compliance, Delivery, Data Processing, Facilities Management, Inventory Control, Administration, Fleet management, and Customer Service for over 1,300 retail and institutional customers.Awarded Distribution Center of the Year for exceling in the management of costs, improvements in productivity, and improving KPIs such as Mispicks, Shorts, In Stock Omits, and Damages.
