Environmental Specialist II at Impact7G, Inc. Works on a variety of projects within the company’s seven business lines which include: Environmental Compliance, Community Redevelopment, Natural Resources, Sustainability, Environmental and Geo-technical Drilling, Training and Telecommunications Services.Provides consultation, field testing, and sampling on a variety of environmental projects including: Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Indoor Air Quality Investigations, Asbestos Inspections/Abatement Supervision, Vibration Monitoring, Vapor Sampling, and Wetland Delineations. Extensive experience with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), agency scoping, public involvement, environmental permitting, environmental compliance, and regulations. Experience preparing technical reports; including, Environmental Assessments (EA) in accordance to the requirements of the NEPA, Categorical Exclusions, Wetland Reports and Functional Assessments, Wetland Mitigation Projects, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments for a variety of clientele; including, municipalities, schools, federal and state agencies, native corporations/entities, and private sector businesses.Additionally, extensive experience preparing NEPA and environmental permitting documents through multiple funding sources (BIA, USDA, IHS, and FHWA) for a wide-range of civil-design projects, including: linear transportation projects, bridge construction, sewer and wastewater infrastructure development, material/borrow source development, land use permitting, and landfill construction/expansion projects. Experience preparing Habitat Permits, Water Withdrawal Permits, Land Use Permits, SHPO Section 106 Requirements, USACE Section 404/401 Permitting, and United States Coast Guard (USCG) Bridge Permitting, among many others.

Responsible for the management of the environmental permitting/planning efforts for civil design projects throughout Alaska. Duties include the preparation of environmental reports/planning documents in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements, environmental assessments, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM 1527-13 Standards), Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), wetland delineations/floodplain assessments, in addition to the preparation of Federal, State, and Local environmental permitting and planning documents.
