The primary role I served as the Army’s Executive Officer for the Army Corrosion Prevention Control (CPC) Program. Reported directly to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Army as the Army’s Corrosion Executive Agent. Primary responsibilities were initiating, sustaining and ensuring effectiveness by establishing metrics, monitored and reported on execution of processes and plans of the Army’s CPC Program. Responsibilities included funding, policy, and guidance for management of the following:(A) System Acquisition and production, including design and maintenance(B) Research, development, test and evaluation programs and activities(C) Equipment standardization programs, including international standardization agreements(D) Logistics research and development initiation(E) Logistics support analysis related to integrated logistics support in the material acquisition process(F) Military infrastructure design, construction, and maintenance.

During the period of the detail serving as a Program Executive supporting the Associate Director (AD) for Flight Programs in NASA’s Heliophysics Division (HPD) at NASA HQ’s Office of Science Mission Directorate (SMD). Fulfilling the primary responsibilities identified in NPR 7120.5F, NASA Space Flight Program and Project Management Handbook and other duties assigned:

Served as a Jet and Space Propulsion Patent Examiner and maintained up-to-date knowledge of emerging gas turbine, hypersonic, solid rocket and liquid rocket technologies by conducting technological analysis and study; site visits; and by tracking trends and developments within the jet and space propulsion field. Successfully closed prosecution for 180 applications, issued 120 patents, and reduced patent application backlog.

Served as Technology Protection Engineer (TPE) to the Department of the Army, Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence (DA G2), counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Disclosure and Security Directorate for Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC) providing industrial security. Primary responsibility was to identify Critical Protected Information (CPI) on Army acquisition programs similar to NASA STD 1006 Space System Protection Standard.

Senior analyst lead for Applied Research Associates (ARA). Provided counterterrorism and counterintelligence with a focus on “Big Data”. Used specialized knowledge and advance analytical strategies in big data to identify individuals and terrorist organizations attempting to acquire Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). Monitored and tracked trends, behavior, individual and organizational strategies to identify current and future threats attempting to acquire WMD material by developing methodologies of predictive analysis by monitoring and tracking trends and developments of behaviors and strategies of individuals and terrorist organizations in order to identify current and potential future threats while also monitoring for insider threats attempting to acquire WMD material within their respective nations.

Deployed to Afghanistan as Ground Moving Target Indicator Analyst (GMTI) specialty in Arc Geospatial Information System (ArcGIS) with cross-training as an All-Source Analyst to provide Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) support theater-wide. Supported national and international conventional and special operation forces. Worked a 24x7 schedule in a fast-paced environment for the duration of the deployment and completed over 60 Requests for Information for strategic and tactical military operations and planning. Assigned additional responsibilities to support SOCOM with Counter-Intelligence for Afghanistan Commando recruitment, and assisted Department of Navy Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (CREW).

Intelligence Analyst for the Space, Counter-space and Advance Weapons branch. Responsible for gathering information on research and development of High Energy Lasers (HEL) and Radio Frequency (RF) weapon systems. Used various types of images such as photographs, satellite images, infrared and radar and collaborated the information with other intelligence sources. In addition, I served on the NASA/NGA/NRO Space Flight Safety Working Group to provide support to the NASA space shuttle’s Orbiter structural integrity protection.

Served as an Aerospace Flight Systems Engineer responsible for cross-system technical integration of flight hardware such as pyrotechnic devices, external tank (i.e. cryogenic) systems, and imagery analysis equipment that supported launch and recovery operations. Technical specialist responsible for multiple different contract support teams that served cross functionally to support my role to manage and execute flight hardware processing. Advised, reviewed, and approved engineer issues, quality assurance, and procedures for pyrotechnic, external tank and imagery systems. My attention to detail ensured that Space Shuttle pyrotechnic devices deployed 100% with no failures.
