My time at Penn and Wharton further enhanced my skills as well as my interest in building businesses and leadership teams. In my 30 years of business, I’ve aimed to instill a culture of development, accountability, and fun that rewards new ideas, independent thinking and results. I believe in the importance of helping to develop the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. I am active in the Penn and Wharton entrepreneurship environment as a mentor to student entrepreneurs and in a leadership role at the Board level. Further, I participate as an investor and serve as an advisor and mentor to a wide variety of privately held businesses of various sizes, stages, and industries. Prior to founding Oak Point, I was a co-founder and CEO of an enterprise software business. Prior to that I worked at TA Associates, one of the nation’s oldest and largest private equity firms. I began my career at the investment bank Salomon Brothers, focusing on corporate finance and M&A. I graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Magna Cum Laude, in 1992. I currently serve as Chairman of Wharton’s Undergraduate Executive Board, am a member of Penn’s Undergraduate Financial Aid Leadership Council, and serve as a business mentor in the Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship Mentor Program. ------ I am open to any serious discussion around leadership, mentorship, and business opportunities relating to Oak Point Partners or interesting growth endeavors.
