Over the past 15 years, we have purchased these assets from over 2,000 companies and have created significant value across hundreds of thousands of transactions and hundreds of millions of data points.----------- I founded Oak Point Partners in 2001, but my entrepreneurial spirit goes back to my childhood, having developed a variety of small businesses in middle school, high school and college. My time at Penn and Wharton further enhanced my skills as well as my interest in building businesses and leadership teams. In my 30 years of business, I’ve aimed to instill a culture of development, accountability, and fun that rewards new ideas, independent thinking and results. I believe in the importance of helping to develop the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. I am active in the Penn and Wharton entrepreneurship environment as a mentor to student entrepreneurs and in a leadership role at the Board level. Further, I participate as an investor and serve as an advisor and mentor to a wide variety of privately held businesses of various sizes, stages, and industries. Prior to founding Oak Point, I was a co-founder and CEO of an enterprise software business. Prior to that I worked at TA Associates, one of the nation’s oldest and largest private equity firms. I began my career at the investment bank Salomon Brothers, focusing on corporate finance and M&A. I graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Magna Cum Laude, in 1992. I currently serve as Chairman of Wharton’s Undergraduate Executive Board, am a member of Penn’s Undergraduate Financial Aid Leadership Council, and serve as a business mentor in the Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship Mentor Program. ------ I am open to any serious discussion around leadership, mentorship, and business opportunities relating to Oak Point Partners or interesting growth endeavors.
