Responsible for all aspects of technology services at ZEN LLC and sister companies. Project: Arcelor MittalDesigned and built a unique risk assessment scenario planning tool for safety and incident-prevention workshops across the world. Overcame particular challenges with providing the proper user experience by re-writing the JIT (Javascript InfoVis Toolkit) space-tree module to produce a dynamically rendered, data-aware bowtie diagram within an HTML5 canvas. Solution was built as a SPA (Single-Page-Application) to function on multiple screen sizes and mobile devices. Solution required extensive leveraging of the ANGULARJS framework, which included writing custom directives, modules, scope-injection and on-demand compiling scope-injected HTML from the template cache. Solution required multi-region and multi-language support, which was baked in using language-specific template resources. The entire application had to be functional in IE8 standards in order to avoid enterprise-wide browser updates. Solution deployed and hosted on Windows Azure using WebApi and RestfulMVC architecture. Project: Rio TintoBuilt a specialized touch-driven interface in WPF for logistics and shipment tracking of sulfuric acid trucking process from the Kennecott Copper Mine. Project included integration with SAP for order and shipment data.Led the development team in building the operational headcount planning system. Invented and implemented design patterns to accommodate a complex dimensional hierarchical planning tool for staffing and resource projections with labor costing for a global mining conglomerate. Overcame unique challenges with building a complex multi-faceted data structure by designing and implementing a Partitioned Composite Dimensional Hierarchy data model in a relational, transactional database.

In partnership with Struck Creative (struckcreative.com) design and deployment of a rich, multimedia, interactive website with a rare fusion of the latest .NET tools and the latest Flash Media components from Adobe. All .NET pieces were developed in Visual Studio 2008. This is a very cool project I was glad to be a part of. My role on the project was as the principal .NET architect, software and hardware provider, DBA and sysadmin.
