Hearing Office System Administrator
CurrentProviding analytical, technical and administrative support, for the Hearing Office Local Area Network system. Perform expert troubleshooting and service of automated data processing (ADP) systems. Maintain responsibility for oversight, management and maintenance of ADP systems in a multi-operating system environmentProgramming and processing, as well as administration and management of word processing, data processing, telecommunications, local area network, batch processing, database management/programming, electronic spreadsheet processing/programming and security. Primary responsibility over systems operations and automated case processing within the office. Conduct installation, configuration, upgrades and troubleshoot HO locally purchased/regionally approved ITS hardware and software as well as peripherals. Provide instructions on network use. Oversee the disposition of all hardware and software in compliance with existing directives for excessing equipment. Maintain records of all systems related equipment including the temporary and or permanent transfer of hardware. Support policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility, and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data. Support risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems. Provide training and technical support to end-users that have been assigned laptops for local and/or remote use. Perform daily backup and periodic purging of user files and documents on the system to avoid system saturation.
