Eric Lovett is a VP Clinical Strategy, Therapy Development at LivaNova. Eric’s department handles a wide variety of tasks, including clinical protocol development, clinical data analysis, patient programming support, clinical and research publications, regulatory submission to both the E.U. and U.S., and research development of new product concepts. Under Eric’s leadership the research team at CVRx successfully transitioned a next generation electrode from research concept to development, and eventually through a successful European clinical trial in a little over two years. This electrode is now approved for sale in Europe. Eric’s ability to manage a range of personnel performing a broad scope of duties is remarkable, and he is fantastic at motivation and morale in the often uncertain environment of a medical device company. Eric is an incredibly strong scientist as well, often contributing the key idea to re-envision a task and make a breakthrough when progress had stalled.
