Family owned Carpet,Paint, Blinds & Misc. Flooring located in Athens Ohio. We are in our 40th year. We are part of Carpet One - CCA Global buying group with over 1000 store fronts. We are also a Benjamin Moore Signature Store. We are a full line Window Treatment dealer. I am responsible hiring, training, Regional Network Leader for the franchise operations side, along with setting up marketing programs, advertising, outside sales, pricing, estimating, and purchasing.

I started with American Carpet Group as a territory manager with Ohio and West Virginia as my territory. In January 2011 I stepped in to fill the National Sales Managers position due to a illness with the prior manager. I was responsible for hiring and training new Territory Managers. I also helped set up new territories and business relationships with Distributors. I left American Carpet Group in August 2011 to come back to help take over the family business in preparation for the retirement of my parents.

Lexington, Kentucky Area

After selling my business I was approached by Bruce Wholesale of Lexington KY to be a territory manager in Southern Ohio. I sold multiple flooring product lines to retail stores. I grew the territory and expanded our presence. I was contacted by Mohawk Industries with the offer to be a Territory Manager on the Hard Surface side, wood, ceramic, vinyl and tile. I worked at Mohawk for approximately 1 year when I was contacted by the Owner of Bruce Wholesale and offered the position of Ohio Sales Manager if I would return. I took the position and worked there till the company was purchased by another Distributor. I was offered a position with the new company but decided to pursue a Carpet Mill position as a territory manager. I went to work for American Carpet Group.

Reynoldsburg Ohio

Started small retail Flooring and Paint store. Grew business from start up to 2 million in sales. Became a Carpet One franchise in 1998. Sold the company to another Carpet One owner in 2005. Rated as of the top Flooring stores in the Columbus Ohio market. Rated as one of the Top service providers for State Farm Insurance replacement division. I had the opportunity to sell my business for a substantial profit. I had always wanted to pursue Outside sales and management positions with Carpet mills or Distributors. This sale gave me the chance to pursue my passion to sell.
