● Performing financial research on municipal bonds using financial statements, original bond documents, bondholder releases, and current events to determine financial position and bondholder risk.● Compiling summary research reports for clients.● Monitoring news sites for relevant information and headlines on high-risk bond issuers, bond insurers, and macroeconomic trends.● Providing technology support by identifying areas for technology improvement, writing new macros to make processes more efficient, and ensuring data integrity of the database. ● Training, educating, and managing new interns on conducting financial research on municipal bonds and general municipal market/industry information.● Assisting in overseeing the informational integrity of proprietary database by working in the back-end program to combine duplications and relocate misplaced information, updating organization of database as new records are added.
