I was a senior investment associate supporting five partners and principals at Woodside Capital, a Burlington, MA-based private equity firm ($100M+ AUM) focused on distressed equity and debt investments in the lower-middle market. I helped invest and manage over $50M of capital across 11 transactions and across a number of industries including manufacturing, media, logistics and consumer products.My responsibilities included evaluating prospective investments, financial analysis and modeling to determine valuation, coordinating due diligence and writing detailed investment recommendations for the investment committee. I provided portfolio support by serving as a board member and observer for 3 investments, executing portfolio company add-on acquisitions, restructuring deal terms and operations, and modeling forecasts for investor reporting. Furthermore, I served in a business development role originating new transactions and was very active with the Association for Corporate Growth, Turnaround Management Association and The Kids Table.

I traveled extensively domestically and internationally to meet with C-level management teams from a number of industries including manufacturing, business services, automotive, telecom, media & entertainment, agriculture, financial services and consumer products.
