With over 30 years of experience as a nonprofit leader, I’ve been driven by my passion for creating transformative change in communities and organizations. My career has been centered on fostering authentic relationships, developing visionary strategies, and empowering teams to achieve bold goals.Growing up in Pittsburgh, I spent 18 summers as a camper and staff member at Camp Barney Medintz in Cleveland, GA. Those summers deeply connected me to the Atlanta Jewish community and strengthened my Jewish identity—values I carried into my leadership roles at various nonprofit organizations, including Camp Isabella Freedman, The Educational Alliance in New York, the Jewish Community Center MetroWest in New Jersey, Camp Twin Lakes in Georgia, and most recently, as CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. At the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, I led efforts to revitalize the organization’s culture, fostering new relevance through strengthened partnerships and collaboration. Together with my incredible team, we raised over $200 million in philanthropy and laid the foundation for the Atlanta Jewish Foundation to reach $1 billion by 2030. Mentoring emerging leaders and establishing a strong succession plan were also key focuses, ensuring the Federation’s continued growth and success. As CEO of Camp Twin Lakes, I had the privilege of leading the expansion of therapeutic camping programs for children with serious illnesses and disabilities. Through innovative public-private partnerships, we tripled the number of families served, growing from one to three sites and increasing the number of camp partners from 20 to over 60. I’m especially proud of the partnerships we created to support wounded warriors and children who previously didn’t have access to camping programs in Georgia.Throughout my career, envisioning transformation and working collaboratively to enact positive change have been core to my leadership style. Building authentic, lasting relationships has been key to every success—whether creating strategic partnerships, fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders, or mentoring individuals. I thrive in roles where I can bring people together, navigate complex challenges, and guide organizations to achieve their full potential. Whether it’s leading through crises like COVID-19 or addressing rising antisemitism, my leadership is grounded in collaboration, trust, and creating lasting, impactful change.
