Leads a team of Business Intelligence developers to create, modify and maintain reports in a Multi-Tenant environment for the The Joint Staff (TJS) and National Defense University (NDU). Provides BIRT and Cognos 10 BI report development support using the Cognos 10 BI suite to include Report Studio, Query Studio and Framework Manager based on a Momentum database source. Manages the development lifecycle process to include requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment for all BI ticket requests. Assisted with the coordination and implementation of a server migration from a 32 bit server to a 64 bit server and a cognos upgrade from 8.4 to 10.2. Assisted with implementing a reporting data warehouse to increase the performance of reports and allow for Ad Hoc report creation for end users called FINMART that uses Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB). Provides Cognos 8BI report development support for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) using Report Studio, Query Studio, and Framework Manager. Support also includes Cognos 7.4 Transformer and PowerPlay support. Leads a small team on an operational and maintenance project to ensure highly visible Cognos cubes and reports are updated daily and provides detail financial data analysis. Assists with other tasks as needed such as administration, training, validation and documentation.

Automated a financial budget reporting process for the Chief Financial Executive division of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to increase accuracy and reduce turn-around time. Designed Cognos Contributor cubes file-mapped to financial data, developed Cognos Report Studio reports for each budget exhibit, published reports to an internal dashboard and made available for export into MS Office. Utilized Cognos 8 BI/EP. Provided onsite client support for complete fiscal budget year submissions. Company went bankrupt and was bought by Deloitte.

Provides workforce profile data analysis support for the Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR), Department of the Navy. Provides support in the administration, production, and analysis of organizational metrics for OCHR and its seven Regional Service Centers, and nine designated major commands. Creates recruitment metrics for the Senior Executive cadre and prepares briefing charts based on the monthly data that also includes analysis and detailed explanation. Supports Pay for Performance Pay Pool Manager with detail analysis of financial data and other analysis needed. Supports HR Strategic Dashboard Project with detailed report and scorecard development using the Cognos 8 Business Intelligence suite. Works closely with client to define, develop and analyze functional requirements associated with the HR Strategic Dashboard. Translates user requirements into system specifications for system modifications. Was instrumental in securing Navy Leadership approval and multi-million dollar funding for HR Strategic Dashboard Project.

Developed a new and more efficient way of gathering and recording data and worked on organizational and administrative task projects, and produced an interactive multi-year file management system.
