Led a team of 5 people supporting the Transportation General Manager on a variety of initiatives, including facilitating The City's COVID Executive Response Group, updating Transportation's business plans & budgets, and coordinating safe workplace & psychological safety initiatives

Led development of Calgary's Electric & Low-Emission Vehicles Strategy, coordinated input from the Transportation Department on GHG-reduction measures, and coauthored the climate adaptation portion of The City's Climate Resilience Strategy.

Developed and updated parking policies for the Downtown, new carsharing parking regulations, and 'zero parking' policies for new residential buildings in Calgary.

Led the 3-person team developing the Transportation Department's 10-year capital infrastructure plan, directly linked to the implementation of the Calgary Transportation Plan. Also led a consultant study exploring alternative funding & financing mechanisms for transportation capital projects.

Managed the 4-person team responsible for the transportation capital infrastructure program, 3-year business plan, and provided strategic input to the General Manager and Transportation Leadership Team.

One of several senior engineers responsible for reviewing and approving land use development applications (with regards to transportation impacts and infrastructure).

Completed a 1-year MSc in Regeneration Studies. My dissertation focused on applying Integral Theory to strategic intensification projects (e.g. Brentwood transit oriented development) in Calgary.

Managed the 4-person team responsible for the development of the Calgary Transportation Plan. This included development of a cross-town 'primary transit network', new complete streets policies and street connectivity policies for Calgary.

Two years working in the Forecasting Division on transportation modeling, and another year working as a project engineer on the Calgary Transportation Plan.

Led a team of 3 people on a variety of transportation planning and traffic signal design projects in the Edmonton Capital Region. Also worked on microsimulation models (VISSIM) on contract to the City of Edmonton.

Conducted traffic signal timing analysis and supported the Traffic Safety Engineer (initially through EPCOR then as an official employee of the City of Edmonton).
