Teaching a course that emphasizes the development of literacy, communication, and critical and creative thinking skills necessary for success in academic and daily life. Students will analyze challenging literary texts from various periods, countries, and cultures, as well as a range of informational and graphic texts, and create oral, written, and media texts in a variety of forms. An important focus will be on using language with precision and clarity and incorporating stylistic devices appropriately and effectively. The course is intended to prepare students for the compulsory Grade 12 university or college preparation course.

Administer practice diagnostics for the LSAT test to students who want to prepare for their LSAT exam.

Administer the TOEIC Listening and Reading tests on a monthly basis both privately (students who attend PGIC) and publically (General public). Read out the test guidelines, hand out pencils and other necessary test-taking items, maintain the academic integrity of the examination. Make sure that students properly spaced out and not looking at others' exams. Monitor the room to ensure that students are not using cheat cheats or copying from others. Note any erratic or strange behavior. I was in charge of most of the events, planning them, sending out invites and the actual execution of the event. I liaised with other groups and businesses to get discounts for our members.

Responsible for soliciting advertisements for a blog for Brazilians living in Toronto. Attended various city-wide events as a photographer, such as Much Music Video Awards, Canadian Music Week, various arts and musical premieres (AGO, ROM, Jersey Boys, Miss Saigon, South Pacific).

Taught English course to international students with an emphasis on preparing them for university in Canada.Implemented self-made curriculum to work on all the areas of language learning – speaking, writing, listening, grammar, and reading while following government guidelines. Took students on fieldtrips around the Greater Toronto Area to make them aware of Canadian life. Ie. I taught several sections of ESL934, which is the ESL Writing class right below College English. The course focuses on refining the essay by developing awareness of audience and the use of appropriate registers. In addition, this course was designed to develop students' expression of critical thinking and the ability to write objectively. This course also introduced the students to the research essay.
