My journey as an architectural designer seeks to answer the unsustainable challenges of urban living through a viable, actionable and scalable housing solution for the world. I believe built environments should include sustainability as an inherent part of their design, with affordability as the key to their success and acceleration. I hold the principle that architectural design and art must be merged. In order to assure the integrity of vision, I maintain full control over the design, development and building of all my projects. With extensive hands-on experience in construction trades, project management, design, development and building, my approach to urban housing development is well-informed and holistic. After founding and running a building and renovation company in 2000, I expanded into designing, developing and building my own projects. This led me to Ubatuba Brazil and the Bay Area where I successfully developed high-end and sustainability-focused homes.In 2015 Atomic City was developed in California. This first-of-its-kind net-zero community made high-end, high-quality and sustainable homes accessible to a previously excluded mainstream market. After completing this project in 2017, I set out to tackle and solve a new challenge: developing the concept for the highest possible tier of sustainability in multi-home development. The success of Atomic City and the conceptual development over the last 3 years has created the framework for my sustainable housing community project, Farmy.
