I don’t train like that and I don’t think anyone should be training like that either. Your product, software, widget, or thing-a-ma-bob is exciting, and deserves the right person telling folks how awesome it is. That’s where I come in.People want to learn, they want you to teach them something they don’t know, or reinforce things they are already confident in. They also want to smile, laugh and be drawn in by an engaging instructor. An instructor must be interesting, dynamic, and maybe even channel a little P.T Barnum! To do that, you must have stories…pertinent stories relatable to your subject matter. I attended a database class once where we started talking tables and queries, and before I knew it, I knew how to field dress an elk! Interesting? Yes, it was. Pertinent? Not so much.As a technical instructor with comprehensive knowledge and experience, I’m awesome at what I do.
