• Multiple Discovery implementations from gathering of hardware requirements and network ranges/credentials to setting up of thousands of schedules based on disparate and remote locations. • Implemented Hardware Asset Management within ServiceNow. Worked with several clients to develop hardware asset requirements from import of data sources, process development, and asset lifecycle management. Data sources included setup of Discovery, SCCM integration, AirWatch integration, and multiple-level, complex transform maps.• Developed software asset strategy. Created process for managing software purchases to import of software licenses including reconciliation of licenses to installations.• Designed and developed ServiceMapping solution to provide architecture view and tracking for business and technical services for client with alternative network monitoring technology. ServiceNow Architect• Designed, developed and implemented ServiceNow system-wide solution to solve client’s duplicate configuration item (“CI”) and duplicate asset problem. Most of the client’s CIs and assets had at least one duplicate; some had dozens of duplicates. Result: Less than 1% of Serialized Hardware CIs have a duplicate, and these newly created duplicates are remediated within 24 hours. Over 250K duplicate CIs were removed and over 75K duplicates assets were eliminated. This implementation greatly reduced ServiceNow processing time, increased quality of ITSM tickets with accuracy of associated CIs, dramatically improved reporting, and increased overall satisfaction by client’s associates with ServiceNow.• Designed, developed and implemented ServiceNow solution to improve client’s decision making regarding their hardware lifecycle process. Customer’s ServiceNow instance had very little data on hardware owners and almost no lifecycle-related information.Result: Greater than 99% of client’s hardware assets have end-of-life and manufacturer end-of-support dates. Notifications are automatically emailed to client’s hardware business owners and stakeholders.
