Current•Direct and manage team of 12 engineers (6 Process Engineers and 6 Project Engineers) across multiple plants (6 manufacturing and 2 distribution centers) with primary focus on identifying process and manufacturing improvements (with and without automation) across value streams, business functions, and supply chains•Direct responsibility for creating the controls and processes necessary for product launch in the manufacturing plants, for maintaining and managing engineering changes, material savings and processes, and implementing best practices across the enterprise•Direct responsibility for leading the manufacturing automation strategy, capital budget planning and forecasting, capital project execution for all projects in the division, and Capital Project Process ownership •Managed two $4M+ automation projects from concept development to transition to production•Prepared analysis of production efficiencies against standard costs and worked with the organization to improve efficiencies in underperforming operations. Organized and lead numerous projects centered on productivity improvements in the process.•Provided leadership and support to the manufacturing plants regarding continuous improvement strategies, evaluation and use of process control methods to standardize processes across the multiple plants. Lead efforts to drive variable and fixed cost improvements to reduce process variance and improve material and labor efficiencies.•Managed over $40M (combined) capital spend over 4 years•Established partnerships with construction and equipment supplier to leverage the work performed by the division to optimize cost and quality.
