Mr. Mathieu is the Corporate Controller for PanAgora Asset Management, Inc. reporting to the company CFO. He is responsible for PanAgora corporate accounting, financial reporting, institutional billing, financial audit and regulatory matters as well as all private fund financial matters and service provider relationships. He works closely with PanAgora’s parent company, fund administrators, audit firms, and tax advisors to ensure all deliverables are supported including investor statements, year-end audits, financial statement, tax forms, and regulatory reporting. In addition, Mr. Mathieu is responsible for PanAgora's general ledger and receivable matters. Mr. Mathieu chairs the Private Fund Oversight Committee and participates in external Board meetings.Prior to his transition to Corporate Controller, Mr. Mathieu served as the Manager of the Complex Securities & Reference Data team within Investment Operations. The Complex Securities & Reference Data team is responsible for the research and analysis of all corporate action events, daily & monthly pricing, fair valuation matters, derivatives processing, regulatory matters, and ensuring integrity of PanAgora’s data repository. Prior to joining PanAgora in 2008, Mr. Mathieu worked 8 years with Investors Bank & Trust, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President overseeing the Corporate Actions Accounting Team responsible for the research of corporate actions and subsequent processing to accounting, with specific attention to IRS tax regulation. He moved to this role from fund accounting operations where he served as a Senior Fund Accountant.
