I was an intern for the BLM at the California National Historic Trail Interpretation Center. While there I learned a good deal about the Government and how it works. As well as interpretation, Amercian westward expansionist culture and Native American Culture.

I was a sandwich artist involved in customer service, food and health safety, store cleanliness, and teamwork.

I was part of a multicultural team working in a face paced customer service environment. There was a heavy aspect of teamwork and strict adherence to state and federal food and safety guidelines.

I was part of a five person crew responsible for the care, handling, and training of ~21 horses. During this time I also taught boys and girls ages 13-18 how to ride and care for a horse; as well as basic animal science and veterinary medicine.
