Worked with a team to develop a new bill drafting VSTO Word Add-In. The Add-In was developed along side an ASP.NET Web API server using EF and a Front End interface using Angular and OfficeJS. This project was a successor to some of the Versioning Add-In work which took place during the Delaware Project. The project focused on improving efficiency by rebuilding the application from the ground up. I began on the project during the Envisioning Phase and has remained on the project throughout StabilizationResponsibilities included:• Heavy focus on VSTO processing functions• Printed Document Line Numbering and Table Line Numbering• XSLT transformations on Word OOXML to create documents and Amendment Drafting• Conflict Detection between documents• Angular OfficeJS application for better interface for users• Integrating with client technologies, specifically their Data Transform Platform to synchronize databases

Joined a small team during the support phase. Cap HUB is a full workflow system for MA counties to fund construction projects with public funds. This includes everything from Design, Bidding, Construction, Budget, and more. Eric has been a part time resource on this project throughout the support phase completing a handful of tasks every month. Responsibilities included: • Enhancements to workflow processed to allow for better data collection and reporting • Addition of a new project type which led to a full review and update of business logic • Added new reports to Web Services endpoint • Various bug fixes

Worked with the Pasha team to integrate with a new 3rd party vendor, Move4U. This project involved working with existing Pasha systems and patterns while designing a new API for inbound and outbound events to communicate with Move4U. The most significant part of the project was an ASP.NET Core API which was designed with best practices like dependency injection and task-based asynchronous patterns.

Worked to assist in support for their legacy eCommerce site due to a delay in the complete launch of the new eCommerce platform. This project involved a variety of support issues and 3rd party knowledge to apply updates and bug fixes to the legacy site, including installing and reconfiguring Bazaarvoice to maintain parity with the new eCommerce system as it gradually rolled out.Responsibilities included: • Working closely with J.Jill IT staff to learn the internal processes of the legacy site and ticket system• Various supporting issues with the new eCommerce platform including testing and bug reporting• Updating existing 3rd party web services and analytics to be tested and approved in new eCommerce test environment• Updating a vendor portal with new layout and design, updating outdated documentation

Worked with a team to create a new full Legislation system in ASP.NET MVC using EF and hosted in Azure. I joined in on this project a year or so into its development period and assisted with the QA effort, later becoming the lead QA for the application. After the project entered the stabilization period, I moved from a QA role to a development/bug-fix position.Responsibilities included: • Running test cases, logging defects, retesting defects, and creating automated test cases • Help with production support testing, running QA meetings, and helping to manage Delaware's internal QA resources• Development to address bug fixes in a number of system domains including, but not limited to, Document Generation, Versioning, and the Journal After the system had been live for several years, I returned to the project briefly to work on some drafting enhancements. This enhancement specifically involved validating bill text against the official DE Code. This feature involved the following:• Extracting text and formatting from Word documents and parsing it to identify paragraphs as potential statutes• Using identified statute numbers to query for official DE code data• Comparing document text data vs retrieved DE code• Outputting results in a new report which is delivered as a new Word document, outlining errors and potential options for the correct DE code text
