Builder 12/21 – 1/23 Pactera contract to Microsoft Azure – translated ADO pipelines from older CDPx style to newer OBP style, used yaml, csproj, nt shell script, powershell in yaml, git, VSCode and ADO pipelines as part of daily conversion work. Extensive configuration work using basic ADO tasks.

Builder 9/19 – 8/20 (Nytec contract to Microsoft Devices). Development build support for 12+ products plus custom builds. Used powershell scripts and Azure DevOps to create image builds for in market devices. Image builds consisted of firmware and drivers to support specific microsoft hardware (MS Pro 6 for example ). Firmware and drivers both 1st and 3rd part were configuration controlled with git ( specifically large custom xml files that were processed via powershell scripts ). To hand special cases and provide rollback, git branches were used to contain each “shipped” product ( subject to rollback ). Learned git branching and merging at advanced level. Responsible for powershell script maintenance and fixes - earned expert level test ranking from pluralsight and improved my advanced powershell understanding.

Builder 4/17 – 9/18 (pactera contract to Microsoft Azure). Development build support for 150+ builds. Used buildtracker to orchestrate builds. Wrote powershell scripts to monitor and auto fix builds. Wrote powershell scripts to auto integrate older source depot code. Wrote powershell scripts to identify unsupported tools use and send nag mail for required fixes. Passed powershell exam with expert rating.

Builder 4/16 – 8/16 (pactera contract to SQL). Converted CoreXT builds to run under quickbuild build engine. msbuild transforms and custom build tool support

Builder 1/15 – 12/15 (wimmer contract to Microsoft Research). Ran daily CoreXT builds for MSR translation group. Build debugging, fixing, monitoring. Wrote C# monitoring code and build conversion tools. Setup and ran DHCP and WSUS servers as part of build infrastructure. Racked hardware under supervision and monitored rack switches via serial lines.

Tools, testing and production of daily windows builds.Release management helped configure and manage build releases for windows org.Engineering helpdesk - provided triage and 101 level answers to engineering problems. Triaged harder problems to code/service owners.My team delivered (built) windows 7, Windows 8 and windows 8.1 RTM builds.
