The Combat Air Forces/Contracted Air Support (CAF/CAS) program provides combat training for fighter aircrew and close air support training for Joint Terminal Attack Controllers. Aerial Target Functional Manager responsible for logistics activities for both full-scale (QF-16s and QF-4s) and sub-scale (BQM-167A, BQM-34s, and MQM-107s) aircraft; assisting in AT development, procurement, modification and sustainment. Assist in identifying potential CS candidates, provide maintenance contract surveillance guidance, assist with contract requirements, technical proposal and statement of work development, perform staff assistance visits in support of aircraft maintenance contracts, participate in source selection and contract negotiation, interface with government contracting personnel, contractor program managers and base commanders to meet contract and mission requirements.

Coordinated with Higher Headquarters on equipment and manning issues and fielding of new munitions, weapons equipment and polices.
