So, what is a person to do when they reach 50 years of age and feel like the path they are on is getting them nowhere?If you are a person like me, you make a big, scary move and jump in with both feet. And that's what I have done twice in the last few years. First, I left the safe, stable job I had been working at for the last 25 years and took a position working with Lindsay Sims and the team at Predictable Results Marketing. Did I feel some fear, doubt and a pinch of imposter syndrome? Yes. But that wasn't enough to stop my from taking on an opportunity to grow and develop myself and my skillset. My second big leap was to go out and get licensed to sell real estate in the state of Ohio. A few weeks of classes and a big scary state exam later, and I was ready to join the team at Colwell Banker Schmidt Realty in the Brecksville office. Did I feel some fear, doubt and a pinch of imposter syndrome yet again? Yes. But I took the leap anyway and now I have established myself in the real estate business and continue to build on all of the skills that are needed to make a great Realtor. In my spare time, I also see myself as a budding record collector, a hiker/backpacker, and when I find motivation, a runner. I also love traveling with my lovely wife Lindsay. Seeing the world with her feels like a reward for decades of hard work. I am also the father of two wonderful daughters who are working their way through college and the adult world and making me ridiculously proud.
