This included tying out large amounts of data from the website products(customer's end result) and it's models back to the source dbs. The products had very complex rules, filters, and a lot of changing functionalities. Developed automated smoke tests and regression tests that could take in data from manual qas and the automation drove from that data. I developed some key tools to give qas the ability to see all the states of ordering as they went through the website. Another tool would allow them to update test database(mock data) for all different kinds of rules from their data with one click. I also automated metrics for mgmt to keep track of all the different testing that was going on with models, products, and validations.

I worked in Quality Assurance as an AVP (Advanced Video Platform) team lead engineer. I led the testing on the OS on video gaming slots as well as some of the latest games. My job consisted of project assigning/managing, testing, tool development/automation(C++ & C#). C++ I programmed the boot chips used throughout test in China,Las Vegas, and Reno to drive automation. These boots would get key information, states, meters and also drive tests on its own. This was key to reducing the load of manual blackbox testing on qas and hitting key deadlines with automation. C++ I coded a menu driven pay test that the payable teams used to test studio games. This was xml input driven on a usb thumb drive. The code would take in all the xmls and automatically drive all the slots to hit those exact pay scenarios and record back to the usb thumb drive in xml format. The math was then verified using a seperate tool. It tested all bets placed in the xml as well as all payables that were on the usb drive.C# I coded a tool that would verify all AVP media coming into the test department. It would check the signature in the certificate and match it with the correct boot key and verify if it would come up on a slot machine. This eliminated wrong signatures with wrong boots that would cause headaches for test as to why the products would fail authentication. It decrypted the signature, checked the md5s against the packages and verified in a db that the correct boot was assigned to this product.C# I coded a tool that would automatically alert appropriate groups when a new push of their system or new system altogether hit the inbox. This would notify leads/managers and any other people they wanted included that a new build was in and would send them the link to the updated system. This gave a very effective form of communication on what was most current and kept testers from not knowing when builds were coming and if they were testing on the latest build or not.

Had a contract for 20 hours a week to maintain/upgrade the whole company's network in 3 different locations. Maintained offsite laptops as well as in-house pcs for ~40 users. Took a CCNA course in order to manage the router and switches. Combined 3 locations servers into one location, mapped out all the IPs and helped with the cisco firewall configuration. Rebuilt and configured servers.
