Improved the RFDVT testing code while working on the characterization of the WLAN radio IP in MIMO ICs (WiFi). Fully characterized the WLAN radio and then used the information to optimize the radio for real-world performance, given various system trade-offs. Developed a procedure to detect instability in extracted circuit simulations (using Cadence tools), based heavily on the "Auxiliary Generator" method pioneered by Suarez, et al. Designed and fabricated a 5GHz WLAN power amplifier (PA) in 28nm CMOS.
