IT Program and Product manager for the web tool suite supporting the intellectual property function leveraged by all GE divisions. The platform is used by engineers, scientists, business leaders, finance and IP professionals and covers the entire IP life cycle from idea creation and clearance to billing, cost forecasting and reporting on key performance indicators. Partnered with users to understand their roles and develop personas to identify how to improve the tool suite to drive productivity and an overall better user experience. Planned product release strategy and managed the software development and release processes. Developed enhanced reporting capabilities by leveraging the Spotfire dashboard platform for visual reporting and the business objects platform for user defined reporting. Ensured compliance with GE’s development process, testing standards and security controls.

Owned all IT aspects of the special payment process for GE’s ~10k expatriates including system enhancements, interaction with payroll systems, development process, testing process, user acceptance testing and release process. Ensured compliance with GE’s software development life cycle. Managed the IT transition of 15 country payrolls to a new provider by leveraging open source business process management/ETL tools.
